As a Nurse Practitioner, I bring a logical, problem-solving approach, vast clinical experience and insight to your healthcare. I am passionate about educating and empowering people, so they can make the best health related decisions for themselves and their families. There is no right answer, but with the right treatment, support and guidance, we can identify the best solution for your situation.

My interest in medicine started as a child after multiple hospitalizations and surgeries. After earning my bachelor’s in biomedical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, I went on to get my master’s to become an Adult Nurse Practitioner at The Ohio State University. My career has taken me into numerous settings including hospital based internal medicine, pain management, hematology/oncology, post-acute rehabilitation, longterm care, home based preventive care, and private practice. Because I recognized in every clinical setting, mental health was a key component to well-being, I decided to continue my training by earning a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) post-master’s certificate from Johns Hopkins University. My passion for helping highly sensitive people (or individuals with high sensory processing sensitivity) is why my work focused on high sensory processing sensitivity and anxiety in adolescents when earning my doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania.

When I am not working, I volunteer my time on committees and boards. I also enjoy spending time with my family as well as being near or on the water, reading, doing yoga, playing pickle ball, and knitting. I also love to travel.
